He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Garver; and his brothers, Carl Clifton "Bus" and Dennis Edward Garver. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Johnson Bumgardner; his brother R. Stevan Garver (Judy) of Grove City; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Garver of Gahanna and Debbie Smallwood of Columbus; and his uncle John "Jack" Garver of London. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Alzheimer's is a difficult thing for people to understand.
