He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Mender (Seiber); his children, Heidi Keaton (Stephen) of San Diego, Regina Mender of Charlotte, Jackie Orcutt (Shane) of Athens, Jason Russell (Tara Smathers) of Buckeye Lake and Dianna Gilbraith (Lane); his grandchildren, Taylor, Devin Orcutt of Athens, Oakley, Ellie Russell of Buckeye Lake, Mark Loudner (MJ) of Kentucky, Conner Loudner (Emily) of Logan, Emylee Loudner (Damon) of The Plains, Gracey Jarvis (Ethan) of Athens, Jamie Jarvis of Albany and Gabby Gilbraith of Athens; and his brothers, Scott Mender (Chris) of Haydenville, Shane Mender (Barb) of Frazeysburg, Shelley Mender of Michigan, Sayre Mender (Laura) of Georgia, Sam Mender of Pataskala, Sven Mender (Kathy) of Lancaster and Stace Mender of Millfield. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
