He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto A. Simons and Freda M. Shepard Simons; and his wife Sharon R. Linscott Simons. He is survived by: his children, Lori Shumaker (Alan) of Logan, Jeryl Simons of Columbus and Scott Simons (Becky) of Amesville; his grandchildren, Miranda Jones (Jeremy) of Pickerington, Jessi Simons of Amesville and Bayleigh Shumaker of Douglasville, GA; his great grandchild Izak Jones; and his brother Greg Simons (Carol) of Greens Run. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
