We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2023, at the age of 96, Ruth Eleanore Thornton of Amelia, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Halstead; her husband Willard J. Woody Sr. (Austin J. Thornton); her brother Robert J. Browning; and her sons-in-law, Douglas J. Ryan and Andrew M. Fricke.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Fricke, Jesse Woody (Linda) and Joyce Ryan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and also several nieces and nephews.
