She was predeceased by: her father James McLane; her husband John McWhorter; and her siblings, Delores Vossler, Audrey Melish, Lucille Tomlin, Mildred Meister, Laverne Hamester, James McLane, Donald McLane and William McLane.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Batchler, Brenda Harris, Michael McWhorter and Cathy Welch. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
