He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Forsythe and Ida Forsythe (Swearingen); his sister Beverly Forsythe; his grandparents, Charlie, Inez Forsythe, Robert and Margaret Swearingen; his aunts and uncles, Homer, Lola Swearingen, Chester Little and Elsie Forsythe; his siblings-in-law, Michael Newman, Eddie and Vivian Newman; and his cousin Jean Little.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Newman; his sister Roberta Newman; his aunt Louise Little; his cousin Russell Little; his niece Annalea Newman King (Tim King); and his great-nephews, David and Jonathan King.
