She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jakob Lory and Karolina Lory; her husband Wilfred J. Hoess Jr.; her children, Wilfred III Hoess (Maxine), Heidi King (John), Renee Arnold (Mike) and Wendy Vesting (Craig); her grandchildren, Melissa, William (Litany), Cory, Dustin, Sierra (Jimmy), Johnathon, Benjamin, Brandon, Chelsea (TJ), Katelyn (Joe), Joshua (Kayla) and Tyler; her great grandchildren, William, Luke, Hallie, Adelynn, Charlotte and Rylee; her siblings, Jakob, Helga, Ilse and Mariele; and her siblings-in-law, Tim and Barb Hoess.
