He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lyman Smith and Catherine Smith (Lucille Smith); his sister Janet; his nephew Larry; and his wife Lucille.
He is survived by: his children, Lyman Jr. (Kathy), Leslie (LaShanda), Loren (Donna), Lowell (Karen) and Lizabeth Bargo (Wayne); his grandchildren, Landon (Dena), Nicole, Amanda (Timothy), Joshua, Zachary, Kacie (Jeremy), Lindsey (Griffin) and Clayton; his great grandchildren, Bradley, Landon, Lukas and Margo; his cousin Gary Williams; and his niece Cindy Bennis.
