He was predeceased by: his son Scott Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Durgan; and his children, Craig Durgan (Lori), Robert Durgan, Teresa Green, Bryan Peterson (Debbie Bonnell) and DeeDee Durgan. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
