He is survived by: his parents, Carol Pingle Oetzel and Kenneth Oetzel (Wendy); his children, Johnathon Ray Oetzel, William Michael Oetzel, Emmylou Ray Oetzel, Zakary Blake Scott Oetzel and Kaydence Lee Kuntz; his sisters, Catharine Crawford (Jesse) and Jennifer Fucito (Noah); and his nieces and nephews, Haylie, Sarah, Abbigaile, Jesse, Hannah, Aubri, Charles and Kenneth. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
