He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Johnson and Gotha Johnson; and his siblings, Eddie, Terry, Norma, Eileen, Joan, Carolyn and Pattie.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Nicole (Eric) and Ryan (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Connor, Zowi, Keira, Nolan and Myles; and his siblings, Jerry, Jack and Barbara. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
