He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marlene Yates; his sons, James Yates (Pamela), John Yates (Tamara) and Michael C. Yates; his grandchildren, Nicole, Nathan, Wade and Hayden; and his great grandchildren, Lilee, Cash and Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hospice of Cincinnati, or the American Cancer Society.
