He is survived by: his children, Michael Elam, Derrick Hitt, Tiffany Elam (Matthew Hibbard), Tonya Sterling and Billie Jo Nafe; and his brothers, Billie Elam Jr. (Cindy), David Elam (Sharon), Floyd Elam, Andy Elam (Rita) and Kelly Elam (Jennifer). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
