With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Lee Gipson of Amelia, Ohio, born in Hazard, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gipson and Martha Gipson; his former wife Ursula Gipson; his siblings, William Gibson, Carvell Gibson, Dorthy Gipson, Mary Couch, Helen Baker, Julia Gibson, Arlie Gipson, Loretta Gibson and Debbie Gibson; and his son Charles "Red" Gipson, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Clara Gipson of Georgetown, OH.; and his children, Mary Warden, Johnny Hensley, JoAnn Hensley, Cheryl McCarthy, Billy Ray Gipson, David Gipson and Jack Belcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many grand children and great grandchildren.
