Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wilda Thompson of Amanda, Ohio, born in Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 92, on November 6, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill McBroom and Eva McBroom; her husband Raymond; her daughter Juliann Smith; her grandson Damon Alan; and her siblings, Herb Hanaway, Marge Miller and Carol Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Christiann Kalise (Ron) of Winter Haven, FL and Edwin Thompson of Amanda; her son-in-law John Smith of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Brandon Stroup (Karrie), Karen Morris (Jeff), Amy Thompson and Bobbi Ausmus; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee and Jackson Morris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taylor-Theller Funeral Home (111 W Main St, Amanda, OH 43102). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fairhope Hospice and Pickering House.
