He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Kern and Margaret L. Kern (Hiatt). He is survived by: his wife Judy A. (Ours); his children, Jerry Kern Jr. (Lisa) of Circleville and Jodi Good (Trent) of Amanda; his grandchildren, Anthony E. Moody Jr. (Sylvia), Nathan W. Kern (Morgan), Haley Justus (Shelby) and Kristin Ross (Eddie Beekman); his great grandchildren, Hudson and Dawson Kern; and his siblings, Neil Kern (Peggy) of Circleville, Jeff Kern (Diana Effinger) of Lancaster, Janice Dillie of Amanda and Joan Stone (John) of Piqua. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
