It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Dossett of Amanda, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. "Doc" Dossett and Ruth V. "Mert" Dossett; and his brother Richard Dossett. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Jeremy Gene Dossett (April) of Bremen, Larry Farmer of Amanda and Michelle Farmer of Indiana; and his brother Raymond Dossett (Charlene) of Somerset. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
