He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bennett and Doris Bennett; his brother Donald Bennett; his former wife Margaret Bennett (Brookover); and his brothers-in-law, Carl "Butch" Ackerman and Glenn Hay.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Bennett; his siblings, Bud Bennett (Linda), Katheryn Kyle and Susan Bennett-Wolfe; and his children, Charlie Bennett, Irene Sams (Jeff), Melissa Costigan (Brian), Jared Bennett, Renee Bash (Matt Price) and Sheila Bennett. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
