He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Weitzel and Eileen Weitzel (Paul); his pet Rusty; his wife Virginia Weitzel of Alvordton, Ohio; his children, Michael Weitzel, Jr. (Kim) of Bryan, Teresa Wilson (Bobby) of Muncie, Edwin Weitzel of Montpelier, Jennifer Barlett (Robert) of Montpelier, Tina Walkowski (Tim) of Bryan, Larry McMullen (Michelle) of Alvordton and Melissa Francis of Peoria, Arizona; and his siblings, Judy West of Rockwell, Connie Stantz of Montpelier, Ohio and Jim Weitzel of Michigan City, Indiana.. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, there will be no visitation and the family will hold private services.
