He is survived by: his parents, Charles R. Ries and Shannon L. Ries (Williams) of Montpelier; his fiancée Kaitlyn Truax of Alvordton; his daughter Morgan Grace; his siblings, Cole of Montpelier, Seth of Defiance, Lane (Kaylee) of Maryland, Anthony (Gabby) of Anchorage, Katlynn of Defiance, Abbygayle of Montpelier and Kinzie Wilson Snyder; his grandparents, Warren, Linda Dickey of Napoleon, Susan Smith of Montpelier and Ben (Traci) of Tennessee; his nieces and nephews, Layla, Braylen, Hadley, Luna, Clayton and Easton; and his aunts and uncles, Crystal (Chad) of Findlay, Sabrina (Chris) of Tennessee, Maria (Mark) of Edgerton, Sam of Findlay, Matt (Shalena) of Florida, Ben (Arianna) of Tennessee, Jerry of Alvordton and Jon (Alisha) of Michigan. He is also survived by many great aunts and great uncles; numerous cousins; other family and many friends.
