She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burnett and Barbara Burnett; her siblings, Paula Brandeberry, Melody Burnett and James Burnett, Jr.; her stepmother Margaret Shadel; and her granddaughter Kaley Brooks.
She is survived by: her husband Dan L. Brown; her children, Heather Gibson (Curt) of Jackson and James Brooks (Lisha) of Napoleon, Michigan; her stepchildren, Erica Ruba (Bill) of Illinois, Jason Brown (Crystal) of Louisiana and Damon Brown of Arkansas; her siblings, Kevin Burnett (Gloria) of Waldron and Monica Mercer (Brent) of Addison, Michigan; and her mother-in-law Dorthy Brown (Dot). She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
