He was predeceased by: his parents, Darl Stoops and Patricia Stoops (Pat). He is survived by: his sister Joy Renee Stoops; his wife Mary Elizabeth Cranston; his sons, Nathan and Ethan; and his siblings, Dean Stoops of Kimmell and Deanna Joy Drinnon of West Unity. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
