It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Warren A. Betz Sr. of Alliance, Ohio, born in Beloit, Ohio, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orie G. Betz and Nora Edith Betz (Simmons); and his former wife Shirley Betz. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Asplund-Betz; his children, Eunice A. Castellucci (Paul), Bruce A. Betz (Cathy), Warren A. Betz Jr. (JR) and Colleen A. Wafler (Fred); his grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, Bryan, Lindsey, Kristin, Jerry and Haley; his stepgrandchildren, Chad and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Weston, Sadie and Reaghan; and his siblings, Velma Morris, Betty Baker, Ralph Betz and Dale Betz.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church Car Care Ministry, which was spearheaded by Warren, c/o Alliance Friends Church, 1307 W. State St. Alliance, OH 44601.

“While we are glad that we will see Warren again in heaven someday, we do know that he will be greatly missed by his family and friends! Even though we only knew Warren since his marriage to Ruby, we certainly enjoyed his company, his stories, and his genuine interest in the lives of the Asplund family. Warren always had a twinkle in his eye and really enjoyed life! Our condolences to the family and our prayers for comfort for each of you! Dan and Kathy Asplund (Ruby's nephew and niece)”
