He was predeceased by: his parents, Brinton Springer and Mildred "Toots" Springer; his stepfather Bill Shipp; and his wife Claire. He is survived by: his brother Royal Springer (Edie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
