With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Kay Douthit Hamlin of Alliance, Ohio, born in Ravenna, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thorton Ausbury Douthit and Eva Gaskill Douthit; her siblings, Clint Douthit, Beverly Douthit Pelosi, Gertrude Douthit Martz (Fred), Anthony Douthit and Richard Douthit; and her son Robert William Kendrick.
She is survived by: her sister Sherrie Douthit Vence (James); her son Richard Michael Newman; her granddaughter Heather Newman McFeeley Miller; and her friends, Ashley Newman McFeely, Cassandra Newman, Kaylee Kendrick, Brianna Kendrick, Kyle Kendrick, Nash Kendrick and Jordyn Kendrick. She is also survived by her great grandchildren.
Contributions in Sandra's memory may be made to the Atwater United Methodist church or Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
