She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy C. West and Christina West; her husband Wilbur Spalding; her brothers, Hugh and James West; her daughter Shanna; and her grandson Matthew Blank.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Jo Auvil (Andrew), Robert Spalding (Janice), Thomas Spalding (Diana Munsch) and Benjamin Spalding (Kristin); and her grandchildren, Christopher Auvil (Susan), Cecily Harness (Robert), Adam Auvil (Angie), Hanne Blank Boyd (Holt), Steven Spalding (Amy), Bethany Yoder (Daniel), Aubrey Spalding, Rachel Spalding, Ryan Spalding, Evan Spalding, Ian Spalding and Faith Spalding. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
