He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayburn Alfred and Grace Elizabeth Guess (Bolton); his daughter Carolyn Hall; and his siblings, Harold, William Carl and Virginia Wyona Guess (Phillips).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Guess (Brunner); his daughters, Diana Kay Dwyer (Terry) and Marilyn League (Riley); and his siblings, Ethel McConney (Dave Simmons) of Uniontown, Dorothy O'Neal (Eddie), Joyce Johnson (Garin), Ray Guess (Elaine) and Mayburn Guess (Patricia). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
