He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Koch and Irene Koch (Szasz). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Koch (Knowles); his daughters, Michelle Teeling (Brian) of Tallmadge and Lisa Smith (Ryan) of Alliance; his grandchildren, Quinntin Teeling, Derek Teeling (Bailey), Evan Teeling, Lauren Teeling, Logan Smith and Makenna Smith; and his brother William "Bill" Koch (Deborah) of Alliance.
