Robert D. Shoemaker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert D. Shoemaker (Alliance, Ohio), who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Shoemaker and Emma Shoemaker; his wife Margaret "Ethel" Shoemaker (McAlister); his daughter Jean Shoemaker; and his siblings, Margarie Griffith (Robert), June Nunamaker (Rufus), Anita Rose Willig (Raymond) and Carl "Jack" Shoemaker (Myrle).
He is survived by: his daughter Carol King (Jim); his grandchildren, Jennifer Roesler (Nick) and Matthew King (Christen); and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Adalyn and Claire.
Bob bowled for 50+ years, and was still bowling in 2020 only to be interrupted by the pandemic.
