She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillard Odd and Maggie Odd (Clayton); her husband Russell Ventura; and her siblings, Lettie, Christine, Dora, Lillie, Hillard Jr., Thomas of Robert, MC, Theodore and Sam.

She is survived by: her children, DeShal Howell of Canton, Lisa Howell of Canton and Daniel Lee Howell, Jr. of Madison, WI; her stepchildren, Darlene Grimm and Michael Ventura; and her brothers, Moses Odd of Canton and Melvin Odd of Alliance. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
