He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence V. and Sarah E. Hons (Henderson); his former wife Jo Ann (Simons); his siblings, Paul A. Hons, Jerry M. Hons, Robert C. Hons and Dorothy McConnell; and his son-in-law Brian DeBee.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Hons (Bruchfield); his daughters, Kathaleen Schafer (Robert), Pamela DeBee and Jodie Turner; and his stepchildren, Randy Teeters (Rita), Lori Harrold (Bryan) and Kim Edwards (Kevin). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and five great-greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St Paul's Lutheran Church (3295 S Union Ave, Alliance, OH 44601). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
