He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hoover and Rachel Hoover (Ebbie); his wife Mary C. Hoover; his son David Hoover; and his siblings, Donald and Janice.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Slabaugh (Jim), Roger Hoover (Debbie), John Hoover (Kathy), Paul Hoover (Laura) and Barb Pucci (Kevin); and his brother Richard'Dick'Hoover. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
