She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Oyster and Mable Oyster (Wingert); her husband Jay; her daughter Cheryl; her siblings, Ruth and Melvin; and her daughter-in-law Jackie Karlen.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Boyce (Ray) of Alliance, Charles Karlen of South Carolina and Gary Karlen (Bonnie) of Minerva; her grandchildren, Randi Duchon (Mike), Matt Boyce (Lindy), Katy Todd (Adam), Kristi Mangus (Allen), Kassi Smosarski (Andy) and Kyle Karlen (Brittany); her brothers, Ray and Herbert; and her son-in-law Chuck Bryant. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Science Hill Community Church (12316 Beeson St, Alliance, OH 44601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
