She was predeceased by: her father Lark Howard; her husband Elwood Arnett; her sons, David Arnett and Darrell Arnett; her granddaughter Nickencie Castle; and her son-in-law Jason Castle.

She is survived by: her children, Michelle Lemar (Kyle), Shonda Meeks, Chasity Castle, Calvin Arnett and Nellie Stemen (Robert); her grandchildren, Brooke Parton (Patrick), Taylor Huffmen (Eddie), Lexi Burkett, Jayvin Castle and Ella Lemar; her great grandchildren, Ava, Karson, Gracelynn, Kaisley, Riverlyn and Renly; and her siblings, Lonnie Howard (Candy), Clyde Howard (Brenda), Kenneth "Buck" Howard, Andy Ray Howard (Amy) and Alma Burkett (Lester). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Nancy's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
