He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff and Lula; his sister Kathleen Shiverdecker; his granddaughter Jessica; his nephew Michael Shiverdecker; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Patrick and Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Sparks (Plummer); his children, Luana Jo Brock (Lemuel) and Evan Sparks (Michelle); his siblings, Clyde Sparks (Mary Jo), Joanna Sparks and Reba Sparks; his brothers-in-law, Dean Plummer and Harold Shiverdecker; his grandchildren, Leilah Tavazoie, Anjonet Brock, Bijan Tavazoie, Aaria Tavazoie, Jeni Sparks, Jackie Sparks and Jonathan Sparks; and his pet Scooter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and 4 great-grandchildren.
