He was predeceased by: his father Mont Vance; his son Matthew Vance; his brother Robert Vance; and his nephew Steven Vance. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Vance; his wife Rosemary; his mother-in-law Frances Reed; his children, Ronald and Melissa Vance (Nancy); his stepdaughter Lauren Hunter (Tom); his grandchildren, Adele Vance, Hailey, Sydney and Hayden Hunter; his siblings-in-law, Tom Reed (Regina) and Donna Vance; and his nephew Andy Vance (Victoria).

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home (5258 Washington Rd, Albany, OH 45710). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
