It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcia Van Nest of Albany, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McAfee and Maedene McLead McAfee; and her husband Darrell E. Van Nest. She is survived by: her children, Teri Chesser of Athens, Mike Van Nest (Melissa) of Athens and Rob Spaulding (Candi) of Albany; her grandchildren, Courtney Van Nest, Morgan Spaulding, Krista Van Nest (William Ferguson), Marcus Spaulding, Kira Chesser and A. J. Van Nest; and her great grandchildren, Raeleigh Van Nest and Memphis Van Nest.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the names of Marcia and Darrell Van Nest to the Athens County Dog Shelter.
