He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Sr. Cooper and Lucile Jenkins Cooper; his son Jeff Cooper; his sister Rita Byron; and his niece Lynann Byron.
He is survived by: his daughter Diana Cooper (Dave Muenster); his grandchildren, Keri, Max and Kelly; his great grandchildren, Chayce, Liam, Brooklyn, Lily, Luca and Rick Heene (Myumi); his children, Brad, Ryo and Falcon; his brother Gary Cooper (Diana); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brendon Byron, Corey Byron (Meahgan), Hillary Lutz (Joe), Maecy and Morgan Mitchell.
