She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hargis and Erma Shannon Hargis; her husband James Kelly Hunter; her children, Jimmy Ray Hunter and Anna Louise Meredith; her son-in-law Robert Clifton; her siblings, Briza Shumaker, Reathel Brown, Ezra Hargis, Ulysses Hargis, William Lynn Hargis and Bobby Hargis; and her granddaughter Bobbie Jean Clifton.
She is survived by: her children, Billie Jean Clifton of Albany and Kenneth Hunter (Patty) of Richlands, VA.; her son-in-law Charles Jack Meredith of Fredericksburg, VA.; and her sister Patty Ruth Hargis of Carey, N. C.. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
