It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene L. Zimmerman of Albany, Ohio, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray S. Zimmerman and Nellie Staneart Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Arvella Jean Boals Zimmerman; his children, Bonnie Dinsmoor (Neal), Jack Zimmerman (Becky Wilson), Greg Zimmerman and Alex Zimmerman (Blondel); his grandchildren, Ashlea Thompson (Tyler) of Albany, Delaney Smathers (Bryce) of Albany and Rebecca Zimmerman (Dirk Chaney) of Albany; his great grandchildren, Ava, Everlea, Matthew Thompson, Lincoln and Hudson Smathers; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Beckley of Albany. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
