He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond and Maude Elizabeth Holcomb (Cottrill); and his siblings, Walter Holcomb, Laura Pickett, Adrienne Fisher, Helen Essex and Carolyn MacBlane.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Holcomb (McWhorter); his children, Pamela Bentz of New Vienna, Marcia Holcomb of Merritt Island, William H. Holcomb (Sandra) of Albany and Ginger Boice (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Kara Dutton (Andrew), Kimbralin Holcomb, Lorene Bent, William A. Holcomb, Norah Boice and Sophia Boice.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Columbia Chapel Church in Albany, Ohio and Star Grange in Langsville Ohio.
