He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolphus Burke and Hazel Burke (Dunigan); his former wife Doc; and his siblings, Phyllis Knowlton (Myrl), Ollie (Wanda), Hebron Burke (Maxine), Paul Burke (Barbara), Roger Burke, Bill Burke (Kitty), Don Burke (Rosie), Jay Burke, Larry McKinley (Kitty), Lat Marcum (Maxine), Ralph Medcalf and Robert Brabbs.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his cousin Richard; his nephew Ron; his great-nephew Dan; his children, Audra Burke (Keith Kelley) and Dolphus "Dan" Burke (Angie); his grandsons, Cole, Grant and Jay Owen; his sister Carol Greer (Roger); and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Burke, Phyllis Burke, Sue Burke, Maureen Brabbs, Penny Medcalf, Ingrid Speakman and Diane Medcalf.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christ Community Wesleyan Church (6275 Kenney Memorial Ln, Albany, OH 45710). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
