She is survived by: her children, Lori Barnes (Dan Chesser) of Nelsonville and Todd Stanley (Tracy) of Athens; her grandchildren, Alicia Barnes of Athens and Alex Barnes of London; her great grandchildren, Leela, Danielle and Jonathon Carter; and her sister Betty McClafferty of Columbia, Tennessee..
