He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Sr. Ely and Edna Young Ely. He is survived by: his son Bryon Ely; his granddaughter Stevie; his stepchildren, Craig Young and Stephanie Young; his sister Patricia Collins; and his nephews, Bill Collins (Deb) and Mike Collins (Lori).
