It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvette Lashawn Ray of Akron, Ohio, born in Wooster, Ohio, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Robert Sr. Ray and Barbara Durham Ray; her daughter Makia Delaney of Akron; her siblings, Robert E. Ray, Jr. of Canton and Mary Hale (Darrell) of Shreve; and her friend Kimberly Nuckols. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, contributions be directed to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
