He was predeceased by: his wives, Beverly and Edith; his son Mark Smith; and his siblings, Hyman Smith (Dorothy) and Velma Toothman (Fred).
He is survived by: his children, Margie Smith of Rootstown, Jeff Smith of Sarasota and Wayne Smith (Angela) of Barberton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as many caring nieces and nephews.
