He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dortch and Catherine Dortch; his parents-in-law, Harvey James and Maudie Mae Townsend; his siblings, Rosalind Hamilton, Joan Dortch and George Dortch, Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Lucy James Brown and Kathrine Dortch; and his granddaughter Teyaurra Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Avery Tremayne Dortch, LaShaun Tremayne Dortch and Yalaunda Tearrah Dortch; his wife Bea; his siblings, Anthony of Akron Ohio, Gregory (Fay) of Akron Ohio, Timothy (Deborah) of Stow Ohio, Llewellyn Dortch (Marlene) of Fort Washington, Maryland, Jocelyn McClendon of Prosper Texas, Cassandra Dortch of Akron Ohio and Karen Dortch of Akron Ohio; his grandchildren, Serita Dortch, Avery Dortch Jr., Aniyah Dortch, Aliyah Dortch, Christian Dortch, Christopher Dortch, Ariyahna Dortch, Trae'Shaun Dortch, De'Ayre Dortch, Vincent Harris and Dyani Harris; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah Oliver, Carter Harris, Mylah Davis and King Harris; and his cousin Terence "Jim" Townsend. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
