It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Michael Heffernan (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Heffernan and Janet Heffernan. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Takacs Heffernan; his sister Julie Grzeschik; and his children, Mike (Michelle), Kevin (Kim), Jeff Heffernan (Brittany), Jerry (Marci) and Janel Takacs. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren with his first great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org/donatetoday.
