He was predeceased by: his parents, Ova Gansel and Donald Gansel; and his siblings, Donna, Gordon, Dave and Jake.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Tony Leonard (Mandi), Cory Gansel (Heather) and Deanna O'Brien (Jerid); his grandchildren, Cory Jr., Carter, Caleb, Sawyer, Conner and Darrin Jo; and his brother Gary Gansel. He is also survived by many extended family and close friends.
