He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Susan McDonald (Shaul); his parents, Cecilia McDonald (Becker) and Edward McDonald (Susan); and his brother-in-law Judge Seikel. He is survived by: his children, Kristin Thomas (Jim), Carolyn Gawkowski (Dave), Elizabeth Slanina (Joe), Patrick McDonald and Ann McDonald; his grandchildren, Amanda, MaryBeth, Julia, Jimmy, Paul, Clare, Jude, Tyler and Christopher; his sisters, Kathy Seikel and Sharon Patterson (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Garber (Van) and Dennis Shaul. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He became a parishioner at St. Hilary Church and never missed 4:00 Mass on Saturday except when the pandemic and his brief illness prevented it.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Thomas McDonald to St. Vincent St. Mary High School.
